Through research, videos, blogs, podcasts, and social media, our team is passionately committed to helping Mothers Lead the Way.
The Mothers Lead the Way Team shares the goal of identifying the challenges and opportunities offered to working mothers with leadership ambitions. As the COVID-19 pandemic has disproportionately impacted women, we sought to understand mothers in their respective fields. As the project has evolved, we have been particularly interested in understanding how challenges resulting from the pandemic may have further increased the leadership gap (by impacting those in the pipeline) and what may be some protective factors that allow some to maintain their pursuit of leadership development. The Mothers Lead the Way team has been invested in not only identifying obstacles that prevent or delay pursuit of leadership opportunities, but also developing and disseminating professional development material from other women in leadership that would assist women to narrow the leadership gap. Through research, videos, blogs, and social media, our team is passionately committed to helping Mothers Lead the Way.
